Describe the bug

According to #1596 (comment) , bindings for enums should be generated. However, on both 1.0 and 1.1, enums are still represented as u8s, and the enum variants are not part of the bindings. This is regardless of whether or not the enum is actually used anywhere (unlike #9758 )
