Ok. What are the rules here? I only have a 'main' branch. I pulled it on top my existing repo, which I cloned from github. I find no other branches on github.

Scratch that. I see that the default installation directory has changed? From /usr/local/nappgui to /usr/local ?

nappgui_src has no branches. All changes are published to main. The default installation directory is set by CMake (usually /usr/local). You can set it with -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX.

I get a lot more compiler warnings all of a sudden as well. Every function needs a prototype. Every switch a default clause...

Indeed. The NAppGUI build system is becoming increasingly pedantic. If you get warnings when compiling NAppGUI, then you haven't updated properly. If the warnings are in your own code, you can disable them from CMake.
