Nested Context Variables

Is it possible to have nested context variables? Or is it the works for a future release or is it not feasable to add to FUXA?

Honestly, I'm not sure about the best scope. I'm tempted to say global, but that could create conflicts or unintended behavior in complex setups. On the other hand, keeping everything local (only one layer deep) doesn’t really improve flexibility much.

What might work is introducing a new kind of view type. Maybe something like a "template" view. This template wouldn't map its variables directly to tags, but instead would define properties (placeholders) that can be mapped to context variables when used inside other views.

So for example:

• The main view opens an intermediate view,

• The intermediate view uses a template,

• The intermediate view maps its own context variables to the template's properties,

• Then the main view maps tags to the intermediate view’s context variables.

This way, you can build reusable components (the templates) with input-like properties, and still pass data down from the top level.

I'm not a developer, so apologies if this isn't technically sound. Just trying to brainstorm ways this could be more flexible. I hope this is helpful and not a distraction.
