Resolve 0.24 blocking ASAN/LSAN issues

Issue #77 needs to be addressed to enough of a degree that downstream consumers can run ASAN/LSAN on their projects incorporating ATF without having to recreate ASAN/LSAN configs to suppress issues found by clang.
