What is the reason and what are the needed changes to add thin in gluon 2016.2.x?

Though it seems to work, if you copy the folder by hand into your gluon packages folder.

there is no problem with the reboot-package, which works fine from the same commit

Is the package still needed? It seems, like the graphs are generated fine without the package in our firmware

It seems like the package only adds the extra statics in the json string only in Branch 2015 and only in alfred.

respondd doesn't get the info. This would have to be reworked completely for respondd.
