Proposal
Hi!
I'd like to use html template engine function in fresh.
So, I made very tiny template engine called minimal-te(minimal template engine).
I'd like you to consider include the one.
Idea
Could you embed the minimal-te (lightweight template eigne)?
https://www.npmjs.com/package/minimal-te
This is a minimum template engine, that can replace the placeholders of HTML with data.
It just offers a replacing function. It does'nt offers the routing or fetching HTML from network, so there are no use of dependencies and fs! Therefore it can be used many environment such as Cloudflare Workers(there are no node fs API).
I think there are a lot of people who want to get off the express or another framework, and get in fresh. But for some people and teams, jsx/tsx is not easy to start with. I think fresh will be more approachableif it includes the template engine.
Appreciation
minimal‑te is currently in an early stage of development, and its feature set is intentionally minimal. Even so, the core template‑replacement functionality can work well on Cloudflare Workers.
Thank you for considering this idea.
