Simply copy the release files onto an SD card

Hi All.
I feel like I am missing something here. Under quick start the instructions say Simply copy the release files onto an SD card (FAT32 formatted). I have searched the GIt but cannot find any precompiled files. Only source code, image files and Gerber.
Are they somewhere else or do I have to compile the source code.

If your RPi is just a few months old, you also need to copy the new firmware files to the SD-card (the old ones do not work with the latest SoC revision)
