Problem with C64 and RAD

I'm having a problem with the RAD on my C64. For some reason, it's experiencing graphical glitches and won't load games in PRG. I've tried it on other C64s and it doesn't have any issues.
Clearly the problem is my C64, not the RAD. So, the question is, what could be the problem with my C64, given the symptoms seen in the image?

Have you checked cleaning your cart port ? There are timing settings you can change via the £ key in the RAD menu.
