Sidekick works, but LCD/LEDs - dont

My SideKick starts and works fine, but I can't get the LCD to work. The LEDs don't work either. The buttons respond.
Any ideas?
LCD checked with arduino.

You could check the 74LVC573 IC. Did you try the kernal replacement functionality? It also requires that IC.
