Is Fake dead?

I am trying to build FsReveal (with .net8) which is based on Fake build. Compiling the solution works, unit tests pass - but build script is broken. Even starting a new build.fsx from scratch, starting with dotnet new fake does not build on Linux.
I had a look at Paket - it is also based on fake.

Does that mean that none of those projects will build anymore?

As it stands, fake-cli has issues on versions of .NET greater than 6, but it should work if the build script is run with FSI or as a console app instead - see https://fake.build/guide/getting-started.html#Different-ways-to-run-FAKE

Very cool! It seems it works best when using an explicit fsproj Project instead of the former build script.

@Slesa yes -- and that has been the case for a while. Build script style has issues and everyone should upgrade to fsproj style (for anyone reading this)
