Licensed Work

The Licensed Work is (c) 2025 Chris George.

Additional Use Grant

You may use the Licensed Work for any purpose, including production use, provided that:

  1. Individual & Small Team Use: You may use the Licensed Work without restriction if your organization has fewer than 10 employees AND less than $1,000,000 USD in annual revenue.

  2. Non-Production Use: You may use the Licensed Work for development, testing, personal projects, and educational purposes without restriction.

  3. Internal Business Use: You may use the Licensed Work for internal business operations (analyzing your own team's metrics) without restriction.

Restrictions

You may NOT use the Licensed Work to:

  1. Offer Competing Services: Provide a commercial product or service that competes with Full Chaos Studio's hosted offerings, including but not limited to:

    • Hosting the Licensed Work as a managed service for third parties
    • Offering the Licensed Work's functionality as part of a SaaS platform
    • Reselling access to the Licensed Work

  2. Circumvent Licensing: Remove, disable, or circumvent any license key validation, feature flags, or usage tracking mechanisms.

  3. Exceed Thresholds Without License: Use the Licensed Work in production if your organization exceeds the thresholds in the Additional Use Grant without obtaining a commercial license.

Change License

The Licensor grants you an additional permission to use the Licensed Work under the terms of the Apache License 2.0, effective on the Change Date.

Change Date: Four years from the date of each release (specific release dates are recorded in version control).

Change License: Apache License 2.0

Commercial Licensing

For commercial licensing inquiries (organizations exceeding the Additional Use Grant thresholds, or for uses prohibited by the Restrictions), contact:

Commercial licenses include:

  • Production use at any scale
  • Priority support
  • Enterprise features (SSO, SAML, advanced analytics)
  • SLA guarantees

This license does not grant you any right in any trademark or logo of Licensor or its affiliates.

THE LICENSED WORK IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE LICENSED WORK OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE LICENSED WORK.

Contributor License Agreement

By contributing to this project, you agree that your contributions will be licensed under the same terms as this License, and you grant the Licensor a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute your contributions.
