[BUG/FEATURE] Allow FxSound to stay completely inactive until manually launched (On-Demand Mode) #582

Description

@shajal0190

My primary issue is automatic switching between speakers and wired headphones. I believe FxSound does not always follow Windows' playback device changes correctly.

Without FxSound installed, Windows correctly detects when I plug in or unplug my headphones and automatically switches between my speakers and headphones. After installing FxSound, this behavior becomes unreliable.
FxSound often continues using the previous output device.

For example:
I plug in my headphones.
Windows detects the headphones correctly.
However, FxSound continues using the previous output(speaker) until I manually open FxSound and change Preferred Output.

Similarly, unplugging the headphones does not always switch back automatically.

Additional observation. While trying to work around this issue, I disabled every startup entry so FxSound would only run when I needed it.

However, in this case another problem appeared:
FxSound does not start with Windows (as intended). But Windows still selects FxSound Speakers as the default playback device after reboot. Since the FxSound application is not running, there is no audio until I either:
manually select my playback device, or manually launch FxSound.

This seems related to how the virtual playback device is managed.

Suggested feature
If automatically following playback device changes is difficult to implement, an optional On-Demand Mode/Applike mode would also solve this use case.

In this mode:
FxSound would remain completely inactive until manually launched.
Windows would continue using the normal Realtek playback devices.
Launching FxSound would activate the virtual device and processing.
Closing FxSound would automatically restore the previously active Windows playback device.

This would be ideal for users (like me) who only occasionally use FxSound as a volume booster and do not want it permanently integrated into the Windows audio path.

Environment
FxSound versions:
1.2.6
1.2.10
Windows 11 Pro 25H2
Realtek Audio
Wired 3.5 mm headphones
