Pi-Star 4.3.4 Beta and WPSD bookworm freezing communication with Repeater modem BAUD460800bps after 30 minutes uncertain time.

I feedback a issue, the official Pi-Star 4.3.4 Beta IMG (Bookworm). https://www.pistar.uk/beta/

Even though it's Pi-Star BETA and WPSD dashboard problem, but it caused by the MMDVMHost service, feedback here.

I got a MMDVMHost freezing communication with MMDVM repeater STM32F446 hardware.
The firmware build from G4KLX github the new code, https://github.com/g4klx/MMDVM.git

Situation 1
If I set Config.h BAUD to 460800 (FM-Network need ), WPSD bookworm version DMR QSO record will freezing , after 30 minutes or more.
If press PTT ,the communication between DMRGateway, repeater firmware, and MMDVMHost will be awakened.

Situation 2,
If I set Config.h BAUD to 115200bps, build new firmware , it will work normal without freezing .

What have change the Serial port (GPIO) processing logic have changed, in the Serial port communication for different BAUD?

*** This problem also appears in WPSD IMG new version (Bookworm).

I also test J-STAR for Raspberry Pi 5B in bookworm, which I build from pre-version of WPSD previous code , no problem, so it not seem the Bookworm Serial/GPIO 460800bps issue or 64bit issue. It seem the MMDVMHost project code problem.

I have test Pi-Star:4.2.3 / Dashboard: 20250418 no this freezing problem.

Does Pi-Star 4.3.4 BETA using the master new source code from https://github.com/g4klx/MMDVMHost ?

J-Star appears to use a very old 6.1 kernel, and do you know what build of MMDVMHost is used on that?
The fact that this happens on both WPSD and Pi-Star suggests that it's not a problem on those builds specifically, they both use MMDVMHost compiled by Chip for WPSD or me for Pi-Star.

thank you for you helpful reply, I will try to build different commit code version to excluding this issue.

I can ensure the new code updated have compatibility problems with firmware use BAUD 460800bps , if build the new firmware code use 115200bps all normal.

WPSD (Bookworm and Trixie) both use MMDVMHost commit 05b10ac as of this writing.

After comparative testing, the issue with the code can be ruled out.

The problem lies in the operating system environment. In Pi-Star v4.2.3, no matter whether old MMDVMHost or New MMDVMHost is used, freezing will not occur. “Error from select(), errno=4; "Error when reading from the modem" problem.

In the Pi-Star v4.3.4 BETA environment, whether using old MMDVMHost or New MMDVMHost, freezing issues will occur.

The system environment parameters are as follows:
