ActiveStorageValidations gem not working on Ckeditor assets #922

Hello! The ActiveStorageValidations gem mentioned here for validations with active storage does not seem to be working on newly created assets.
A new file uploaded via the Image Properties > Upload > Browse > Send to Server method bypasses the validations.
I created an issue on the ASV page, but am wondering if my assumption of the problem is correct and if it's better served as an issue here. My apologies if not.
