Help for Gantry

I would like to start this conversation with a proposal: Help Gantry.
It is a project that many people use, which has been stagnant for quite some time, with a multitude of very old unresolved issues, PR that could help the project without merging, etc.
I think it's time to make a decision about the project, and abandoning it is not an option. I wonder how I could help, at least with pull request merge, responding to issues, etc. I'm already doing it with Grav and his themes Deliver and Grav. I know it would be a lot of work, but it's better to solve an issue every month than any in years.
