Curator Missing Reads for Specific Barcodes in Recent Runs #44

Description

@jackie-seitz

Thank you for making this great tool. We have been using scNanoGPS to preprocess some single-cell long read libraries, and we have been getting some rather strange results from the curator recently, and I was hoping to get your feedback. When running curator, we are seeing that some of the cell barcodes have no raw records that are passed into the curator. (see image below for a snippet from the log showing the barcodes with the fewest input reads).

We have seen this issue come up with all samples that completed in the past week. This comes as a surprise to us because we have used the curator on more than 50 samples over the past year, and have not encountered this issue in any of our other curator logs.
We looked into our input files from the scanner and assigner and found that in both the scanner barcode list and the CB_counting file from the assigner, we can locate these cell barcodes in which there appear to be several thousand raw reads that are not being passed through to the curator.
Do you have an idea of why a handful of barcodes, and the reads associated with them, are not being accessed by the curator? Thanks so much for looking into this!
