If you ever want to remove a share from the Greyhole pool, simply removing references to that share from greyhole.conf probably won't be enough for you.
Just doing that, Greyhole will simply stop touching those files. It will not move the files out of the pool in any way.
If you ever want to remove files from the pool, here's what you can do.
Starting from Greyhole 0.9.21, there is now a --remove-share command line options available that will do just what you need:
sudo greyhole --remove-share Movies
