Introducing the changes in #492 has caused the created and revision dates for all pages in the docs are incorrect.
All pages show as created and last revised on the date they were generated by the CI. This could be because of a bug around how the git-revision-date-localized plugin which generates these dates interacts with MKDocs Material and/or other plugins. As these dates are misleading and no longer useful, we should remove this plugin and therefore not include these dates.
