ROR is dropping there v1 API - scripts need to use v2 schema

Per https://ror.org/blog/2025-06-11-v1-sunset/ , by July 28, we either need to add a v1 to our api calls (which will work for another 6 months) or, preferably, update the script to use their v2.1 schema.

Subsequent email from ROR: We're writing to you as a known, listed, or in-progress ROR integrator to make sure you've seen our announcements about forthcoming changes to the ROR API that are scheduled for implementation during the week of July 28, 2025. During that week, ROR API requests with no version in the path will begin to return responses in ROR schema version 2 instead of ROR schema version 1.

This may be a breaking change for some scripts and applications that use the ROR API, so we highly recommend checking and if necessary updating your ROR API requests. If your ROR API requests have no version in the path (for example https://api.ror.org/organizations) and you want to continue to retrieve version 1 responses, you can continue to retrieve results in the same form by specifying version 1 in the path (for example https://api.ror.org/v1/organizations).

Note that version 1 of the ROR schema will sunset altogether in December 2025, so we recommend planning to switch to version 2 of the ROR schema and API before the end of this year.
