Teleportation does not update height offset until the second teleport

To reproduce:

Teleport once. Notice the height is the same. Teleport a second time. Notice you should be in the ground now.

Expected behavior:

Please note that the below variable names may not exactly be what's in the code. I'm sorry -- I will update this to the actual variable names when I have time.

newGlobalHeight is always = terrainHeight + heightOffset, and heightOffset is always the same.

Actual behavior:

newGlobalHeight = lastGlobalHeight on the [odd number]th teleport, and then newGlobalHeight = terrainHeight + heightOffset going from [even number]th teleport.

More details:

I tried to write an if statement that is called something like if (justBumped), but even before I introduced this hacky "fix", this problem was still there. I think something is odd about the CameraOffset object.

Right away after pressing play (because of some Start function somewhere):

• SetPlayerPositionToHome

  • UpdatePlayerPosition2
    • Position.pos = 0, 0, 0
    • CenterEye.position = 0, 0, 0
    • finalPlayspacePosition = 0, 0, 0
    • teleportX = 0
    • deltaX = 0
    • deltaZ = 0
    • fPP.x = 0
    • fPP.z = 0
    • playspace.position = 0, 0, 0. This is all correct.

• justBumped = false (still false)

• finalPlayspacePosition = 0, 0, 0

• teleportY = 0

• manualHeightOffset = true

  • manualYOffset = 0
  • justBumped = true

• finalPlayspacePosition = 0

…
After first teleport:

• newData: pos: -0.1, -0.6, 10.0
• UpdatePlayerYPosition
  • teleportY =
  • justBumped = true
• it returns because justBumped = true

After second teleport:

• newPlayerPos = -4.1, -0.6, 9.3
• centerEye = 0.03, 0.00, -0.05. rot = 0.0, -0.1, 0.0, 1.0
• UpdatePlayerYPosition
  • teleportY = -0.64
  • justBumped = false
  • finalPlayspacePosition = -4.1, -0.0004, 9.3
