Is SLD 1.1.0 not supported in the Geoserver-geostyler-extension

A lot of SLD's I have are version 1.1.0. Mostly exported from QGIS or edited by hand. The Geostyler-extension does not preview the symbology of a rule; it only shows a black dot or line. The map preview does reflect the 1.1.0-version. In the Geostyler-demo-page symbols are shown as expected as well.

So, is SLD not supported in the geoserver-geostyler-extension? Or do I have to install some extra parsers for the SLD 1.1.0-format?
