Do I really need to enable/ set notification settings for every enviroment?

As the title says - is it really necessary to enable/ set the notification settings for every environment?

In some cases that might be necessary, but most of the time notifications from agents should go to the same destination as set in the "master" arcane system, shouldn't they?

If it is required by design, than it would be nice to have some kind of "copy settings from master to agent".

@EvilBMP I just noticed the same lately. I have overall 8 environments and wondered why I only get notifications from the "main" environment i.e. arcane itself.
I think this is a missing feature and should be a feature request instead of a discussion thread. But maybe I am biased as I would like to see this implemented ;-)

I noticed the same thing.
I think @kmendell wanted to have a separate notification configuration, but in my opinion the actual implementation is not optimal and especially not clear.
We do not know that the configuration of notifications is dependent on the currently selected environment...
Ideally, it would just be necessary for the master server to manage everything, and for the sent notifications to be made with the name of the environment that sends them...

But in the issue you linked, you only "complain" about the fact, that the email notification does not clearly state from which environment it was coming.

You only wrote about the central management of notifications in this discussion, didn't you? So this part is missing in the issue?
