Issue with switching to remote environment

I setup the manger in my mac and ran the agent using podman (edge agent) and the logs show the connection was successful except for just one thing, heartbeat is hitting a rate limiter. The usual curl commands from agent host (in this case it was an alma linux pc) to manager host are working fine as well but the minute I switch my envornment in the management dashboard I'm hitting the issue -

Unable to connect to remote environment "Remote 2"
Unable to connect to remote environment "Remote 2" at edge://remote-2. Please check that the Arcane agent is running and the URL is correct. - 500

I had a similar issue with same error description -- but in logs it showed:
websocket: the client is not using the websocket protocol: 'websocket' token not found in 'Upgrade' header
I fixed it in NGINX (that is what I use for rev proxy) by defining map

map $http_upgrade $connection_upgrade {
    default upgrade;
    ''      close;
}

and adding these headers

proxy_http_version 1.1;
proxy_set_header Upgrade $http_upgrade;
proxy_set_header Connection $connection_upgrade;
