Grav 1.8.0 Beta7: unable to run post-install script

Testing Grav beta atm. All update to date, but fail to run post-install script. Can this be edit manually? I am the owner and have also chmod +x /bin/grav

are your files owned by a different user than the one your duc user?

check permissions of user/config/system.yaml and see if your user can open/edit/save that file.

Hmm.. is your system.yaml valid YAML? it might be having trouble parsing it?

how do you mean? How to verify validation?

bin/grav yamllinter

is the quickest check.. should check the user/config/system.yaml, but also you can copy/paste into an online yaml linter, e.g: https://www.yamllint.com/

Well you are probably on 1.8 already, you can manually add the twig compatibility flags in user/config/system.yaml:

strict_mode:
  twig2_compat: true
  twig3_compat: true

I just tested and it updated my system.yaml fine (although it did have another error but unrelated and not fatal)

My system.yaml current have these. Do I added the above or override them??

just remove the twig one and add the twig2 and twig3 entries.. twig_ is not used anymore in 1.8
