I'm unable to access Probo dashboard due to this error:

panic: cannot parse encryption key: key must be 32 bytes for AES-256, got 0 bytes after base64 decoding

This issue started in this image: v0.138.0

Yes, this is because before the application does not enforce this cinfiguration to be set (even if it's required). We have now enforce it.

is it PROBOD_ENCRYPTION_KEY config? If so, the issue persists even if it is defined.

ok, so I solved this. First I created my own container based on the prod docker compose file listed in the docs, and added my own certs, and then also the API_CORS_ALLOWED_ORIGINS variables needs https:// in front of it (assuming you are deploying off the Railway template, the template seems to miss that)

Redeployed with my new container, and updating the var and it works.

For Railway, the template isn’t managed by us, and we haven’t found a way to take ownership of it.

I fixed this issue by deploying version v0.149.1 and adding https:// in front of the existing API_CORS_ALLOWED_ORIGINS env variable.

Railway template has this variable @ehudsn but without the HTTPS it is required on this new version v0.149.1
