Missing syntax highlighting theme `ayu-light`

Environment

Zola version: 0.22.1

Expected Behavior

All themes in https://github.com/getzola/giallo?tab=readme-ov-file#built-in work, including ayu-light.

Current Behavior

Building site...
ERROR Failed to serve the site
ERROR Theme `ayu-light` does not exist

I do not get a backtrace.

ayu produces the same error. ayu-dark works. The various github light themes work, as does catppuccin-frappe. I'm not sure if any other themes are missing.

Step to reproduce

Edit config.toml and add:

[markdown.highlighting]
theme = "ayu-light"

[HaiqalAly]

It seems the reason it’s missing is that Zola is currently using an older version of the giallo highlighting engine (v0.2). That version points to a snapshot of the theme repo from (probably) back before ayu-light was even added.

I just tried bumping it to giallo 0.3 locally, and it fixed the 'Theme does not exist' error. However, doing the update isn't a simple one-click because the 0.3 version of Giallo changed its code structure slightly, so Zola's markdown code needs a tiny tweak to compile with it. Still can't get the theme to work though, only that the site is finally served.

Yep, I'll update the next branch of Zola to use 0.3 probably today. In the meantime you can grab https://github.com/shikijs/textmate-grammars-themes/blob/39b640833ac87854ec0fc1e2228ebb70dc5f4397/packages/tm-themes/themes/ayu-light.json and add it to your project via the zola config file with the extra_themes from https://www.getzola.org/documentation/getting-started/configuration/
