Release Cycle of wgpu?

The PR #6885 has been merged into trunk on January 28th, 2025. When will it make it's way into a version 24.0,x of both wgpu and naga?

This PR fixes a "vulnerability" which is rated 9.8 (critical) by NIST / NVD, see here, Hence it would be great if this could be closed out with a published version of wgpu / naga asap.

We run on a ~12 week release cycle, so next release is currently scheduled for April 9th. We keep release dates in our milestones https://github.com/gfx-rs/wgpu/milestones. We should document this better
