R 2.14 is tentatively scheduled for October 31, and there is usually a new version of Bioconductor following the release of R. By that time, `qtbase` should be available to ordinary users, hence it will be (slightly) easier for them to install `qtbase` and `qtpaint`. The `cranvas` package should have finished most of the plot types in GGobi (except the network visualizations), as well as other common plot types in `iplots` (let's see what is in Simon's new package) and Mondrian/MANET. This milestone will focus on: - bug fixing and aesthetics improvements of existing plots - new types of plots such as hexagons, tiles - speed issues, e.g. be more parsimonious in listeners and strict on meta components - vignette to be continued...
