Upgrade Au1 version to latest slickgrid

How big do you think is the effort to upgrade Au1 version?

If you're talking about upgrading v6 to latest Slickgrid-Universal, well I would say... sorry but I have no intention of doing that. You were the one who wanted Au2 and now you're asking for Au1? 😝 The thing too is that there's barely anyone using Aurelia-Slickgrid at all anymore, I see the yearly download rate keeps going and down, probably because Au2 takes forever to be released and no date in sight. I'm also soon going to start working on the next major (ESM only & other changes)

There're a few other Au1 plugins which are not getting au2 upgrade so our project upgrade is also postponed.
I could update v6 to latest slick but I have no idea how big is the effort.

Btw, do you see any decent alternatives to Au1/2?

It's a lot of work which I'm not really interested to spend and it would require me to keep 2 different releases available at the same time. I mean I wouldn't even know how to tag them v8, v9?

For Au alternatives, I'm doing more work with Vue lately which I kind like and I would probably choose that one. Angular is also getting much better & slimmer than before (we can now go without Module/Controller).... The only framework I really wouldn't go with is React which I really don't like much personally (even though I do support React-Slickgrid lol). The only framework I still haven't tried and that I don't have a wrapper for is Svelte, though I have wrappers for all other frameworks

You could also stay on Aurelia-Slickgrid v6, it's not old and it still works. Though it didn't receive any of the new feature since then
