Request feature to yank a split into a new tab, reshape splits

I would like to be able to arbitrarily reshape pane split layout manually. I understand this may be a complex feature. pane splits are possibly established as a binary space partition tree, so it would satisfy this ask if the only operations we get are e.g. toggle the split that the active one is on between horiz/vertical, and various tree rotation operations.
