System
System: macOS 26.1 (Tahoe)
Ghostty: 1.2.3 (Stable)
Problem:
Currently the OSC sequence

\e]777;notify;foo;bar\aGives:The working directory
~is added to the notification, which takes up most of the space in the pop-up (especially with longer paths, which tend to get truncated before the important parts anyway), and is not needed in some cases (all of my use cases).Solution

pwdin notifications.Possible Configs
shell-integration-featuresno-notify-pwddesktop-notificationsno-pwdosc777no-pwdThe level of fine-grain control is an open question:

I have not researched this, it could be far too much effort for the reward
Add an option for customizing the icon associated with the notification. I am unsure if this is up to the application sender, or purely determined by the OS via app icon...
e.g.
desktop-notification-icon = path/to/iconBeta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
