Reset command resets the cursor style to block or default cursor instead of cursor-style preference

I currently have the cursor style set to be underline in my configuration. However, when using the reset command in the terminal it resets the cursor style to be a block.

I disabled shell integration but after using the reset command the terminal still doesn't take into account the cursor style preference that's in the config file.
