Hi team,
I recently discovered Ghostty and think it’s fantastic! I was wondering if Ghostty supports iTerm2-like Profiles and Hotkey Windows. It seems quite similar to Quick Terminal, which already supports global hotkeys. I noticed that adding iTerm2’s double-tap hotkey feature is on the roadmap as well (#4335).
However, I found that Quick Terminal is like only one Hotkey Window. In contrast, iTerm2 allows each profile to have its own hotkey and acts as a dedicated Hotkey Window, meaning multiple dedicated windows can be used simultaneously.
For my personal use case, I have two dedicated Hotkey Windows: one for my local macOS and another for my development remote host.
You can find more about this feature here: https://iterm2.com/features.html
Thank you!
