Problem with musikcube

I can't run the musikcube program inside this terminal. This is while other similar programs like cmus can be easily run without any problems. After I enter the musikcube command, nothing happens. The other programs run easily. But like this I don't have the problem in my other terminals. How can I fix it? Is there a bug in the terminal or do I need to make special settings?

some more details will be needed here, what OS are you on? what version of ghostty and musikcube? what happens when you try starting musikcube, and errors logs or screenshots?

on macOS it seems to run fine for me in ghostty

i am on debian linux 12 with xfce desktop.I built the program from this source : https://github.com/ghostty-org/ghostty.git
and Musikcube version is 3.0.4
