If you assign a native mac app to all desktops (by right-clicking the dock icon):

…then if you switch desktops with that app showing, it will continue to show on the new desktop.
On a fresh launch, Ghostty acts the same. However, if you hide Ghostty by typing cmd-H or by choosing “Hide Ghostty” from the Ghostty menu:

…from that point onward Ghossty acts as though it has been assigned to whatever desktop it is unhidden on. IOW, if you hide it and then un-hide it and then switch desktops, it stays stuck to whatever desktop you unhid it on and does not appear on whatever desktop you have switched to.
