Native tabs/splits with tmux

Native Tabs, Splits, etc.: We use native macOS components for UI elements such as tabs and splits as opposed to custom-drawn text such as other terminal emulators

Does this mean tmux tabs/splits also benefit from this feature?

No

The "native" means that as a macos app it uses appkit and swift ui for macos
GTK on linux

tmux is a completely separate program (that doesnt use swift or GTK at all) it does own windows and splits
