What help output isn't proper on macOS?

Well, so, which help output? There are two man pages, all the CLI actions have --helps, there's +show-config, and—though I'm not sure about macOS—there's a HTML and Markdown version of the man page somewhere on one's system too. All these are mentioned on the website as well. And this should probably mention https://ghostty.org/docs and https://github.com/ghostty-org/ghostty/discussions now; I can submit a PR to change this if requested.

Just to add some more color to discussion, all of the following work just fine on macOS:
man ghostty, info ghostty, and ghostty +help (or --help, if the double hyphen arg is more your style)

As the code snippet shows, running ghostty as a standalone command returns that help note. I think changing it to something like "see ghostty +help for more usage information" would be a welcome change without sacrificing the message that does get printed about the special macOS way to open Ghostty :)

And doing it that way means you also won't get a random dump of text if you try run Ghostty.

I was trying to hunt down the HTML/markdown files but you responded too quickly for an edit, haha. On macOS, they live in the following directory (assuming one installs Ghostty into the standard /Applications path)

Thanks. (It was also mentioned on the website, by the way.) On Linux it's at /usr/share/ghostty/doc or ~/.local/share/ghostty/doc or somewhere else depending on where one installed Ghostty.
