cmd-k not clearing the whole screen

At ~6 seconds in, I type grbc which is my fish abbreviation for git rebase --continue. I press enter to run the command, then immediately press cmdk to clear the screen, but I do not let go of cmd. Git's rebasing output moves to the top of the screen, but most of the screen is not cleared.

I run into this ~daily, but haven't figured out a good way to reproduce it (aside from clearing the screen after I run a command that prints). I think I only noticed this because I keep cmd held for a split second after releasing k, and the flicker is pretty obvious to me.

When you release cmd the mouse mods change which marks the screen as dirty-- I think this must be a dirty tracking issue

I'd love to provide a better repro for this, but the last time I tried, asciinema couldn't capture a screen clear with cmdk.
