Updated to the latest version of ghostty again today and it still crashed |

there havent been significant updates for 2 days, the most recent being an update to a dependency so building from tip for something like brew doesnt fail does 1.1.2 work there were really not that many changes between 1.1.2 and 1.1.3 not sure if your package manager lets you download older versions or not |

I haven't been able to figure out how to get a working version of 1.1.2. As far as I can tell, there aren't any binaries for this version available from the ghostty project, and I haven't been able to get ghostty to build from source. (The zig part of the build works fine, the xcodebuild is totally broken on my machine, probably because I am using a few year old version of macos). |

I did I also made sure that xcode path was correct

I am also getting a crash on launch. I found if I edited my config file, it would start working again. But then it would start crashing again a few launches later. Is there anything I can try, ie clearing cache or similar? |

It could be due to Ghostty being built on a newer OS version and something breaking when running it on an older OS, and maybe Intel vs ARM being involved. Don't believe clearing any cache or changing any Ghostty config would help unless you manage to stumble on some config option that prevents triggering the code path that is failing. Maybe you can try If you're willing to "mess with" your Xcode setup, you can check if any newer Xcode versions will run on your OS, and try building with one of those. I suspect if you manage to do a local build, it will run fine. If you want to "really mess with" your machine, you can try OpenCore Legacy Patcher to get on a recent MacOS version, but that will void your batteries, burn down your portable BBQ and insult your yard ornaments, be safe be backup, yoyo, ymmv. |

Macos 13.2 running on intel mac
Both manually installed ghostty and ghostty@tip on homebrew crash.
For the moment I am going to be using alacritty as ghostty will no longer start.
