I wasn't aware that this was even possible to override (on macOS or any other platform) on a per-app basis. How do you set this on iTerm? I want to do some research on what API they call. (iTerm2 is GPL so I can't see their full implementation here but seeing the system API they use to do this should be fine) |

Closed relevant duplicate: #10254 Just for context: this feature would be useful for both standalone config, and when coupled with the hidden window mode as a workaround for the automatic layout switcher that stops working in that mode. |

I was using iterm2 on my Macbook before and liked one feature to force my keyboard layout to one specific one.
It seems that ghostty doesn't have such a feature available. In case I'm wrong please let me know.
