Reopen CWD after update

I love ghostty and so I can't resist updating whenever I get the popup. And then I always forget how to get to the directory I was in.

Would it be possible for it to reopen the previous directory after an update?

It's only a small amount of friction but with the attention to detail ghostty is aiming for I think this would be fitting.

window-save-state help? Or do you mean only for updates?

I wasn't aware of this option however I would like to configure it for updates separately

@00-kat I use window-save-state = always and it usually works, but not with the auto-updater.

I was personally aware of window-save-state. I would love to have it work for only updates. For me, a new option on that config would suffice. But otherwise, I guess you would need to make a new config option that defines behavior on update (and defaults to the setting of window-save-state
