Hello !
I use Ghostty since yesterday on my Linux machine on Ubuntu 25.04 using the snap package. As a well-known """problem""" with snap packages, the initial startup of Ghostty feels a bit slow since the snap archive is not cached in memory.
What's about follows some other snap applications by enabling LZO compression of the snap to improve user experience ? This is not a breaking experience, but I think it could be a nice little improvement, especially for a terminal app :)
I use other official/Canonical snaps using LZO compression and the difference is night and day. Here a list of apps I use that are compressed with LZO in the Snapstore:

Thanks !
Florian
