I've started some really basic AppleScript work, mostly to start wrapping my head around what it might entail. Linking to my branch here, as I may not be able to finish this, and it might prove useful for future work in this area.

Some documentation I used, I almost gave up as I had done the implementation twice extending appdelegate and trying to call the methods directly as documented in multiple places. Last ditch effort to do the class style and it worked.
