Quick Terminal Window on Linux remains blank after toggling off

Issue Description

I have the following config to get a Quake-style behaviour on Linux:

keybind = global:ctrl+backquote=toggle_quick_terminal
quick-terminal-position = top
quick-terminal-screen = main
quick-terminal-autohide = true
quick-terminal-size = 50%

This worked flawlessly with 1.2.2 but broke on 1.2.3. Now a dark rectangle remains after toggling the quick terminal off.

Expected Behavior

When I hit the toggle_quick_terminal, the terminal appears and works fine. When I hit it gain, the terminal disappears.

Actual Behavior

Hit the key once, it appears and works fine. But when I hit it again the content of the terminal disappears but a dark (not black) rectangle of the same size remains. This disappears once I focus something else.

Reproduction Steps

System is a current EndeavourOS with Plasma on Wayland. Ghostty v1.2.3 from Arch repo

1. Configure Ghostty as shown above.
2. Hit bound key to show quick terminal.
3. Hit bound key again.
