If the entire system crashes / battery dies how could you expect any application to exit gracefully ie save state as its closing |

I'm not sure even iterm2 can survive a crash? I concede that, my issues is mostly ghostty updates; system updates |

I LOVE updating to the latest ghostty, but can't unless my work/agents are in a state when I can loose everything :'(
I would be amazing to have a setting to allow the session scrollback state be restored on un-user initiated closures:
This would be amazing as I've been burned by this a bunch of times.
I feel like macOS must have some APIs you could use and I know other native apps seem to be storing some state so if a restart happens it can restore Safari tabs, App state etc.
