Whether to automatically copy selected text to the clipboard. true will prefer to copy to the selection clipboard, otherwise it will copy to the system clipboard.

The value clipboard will always copy text to the selection clipboard as well as the system clipboard.

Middle-click paste will always use the selection clipboard. Middle-click paste is always enabled even if this is false.

Hi,

I am wondering whether it would be possible to either:

1. Add a paste-from-clipboard option (when true, middle-click paste works with system clipboard), or
2. Implicitly synchronize the middle click paste behaviour with copy-on-select so that:

• when copy-on-select = true, middle click pastes from selection clipboard
• when copy-on-select = clipboard, middle click pastes from system clipboard

I feel that would be both more consistent and more useful to me personally.

There are already separate actions that exist to paste from either selection or system clipboard.
