Option to send terminal output to system clipboard

I'd love the option to execute a command which means "Start sending everything in the terminal to the clipboard." That way I don't need to go back and select the text, especially for stuff that's hundreds or thousands of lines long.

If I could do something like Super+Control+C to start mirroring the terminal output to the clipboard, and again to stop, then I could much more easily get SQLite dumps and other things into my clipboard.
