tabs disappeared after migration to v8.1.1

after migration to 8.1.1 my 30 tabs out of 1500 disappeared.
spent 40 minutes to recover and put them to neccessary windows/tab groups.

still reports "The Marvellous Suspender is about to get marvellous-er
A new version of The Marvellous Suspender is ready to be installed.
Please note: during the update your suspended tabs will briefly disappear."
on every suspended tab

it is very pity and disappointing.

this is not the first time when i'm loosing tabs during update.
please create control mechanism which will compare tabs before and after update.

upd:
"The Marvellous Suspender is about to get marvellous-er... ... ..." is gone after browser restart.

but problem with disappearing tabs still persists
plz include the offered control mechanism to future enhancements

I have also had a few tabs disappear with a much smaller amount (no more than 30, running Brave) after updates

Same issue here... my browser just auto-updated the extension from 8.1.0 to 8.1.1 and I lost all my suspended tabs.

I'm just uninstalling as I can't keep losing tabs. It's extremely frustrating...

Hello- For those who are missing some tabs after updates...

If you still have TMS installed, would you mind checking the Sessions management section within Settings?
Look for Automatic save point for v8.x.x

Questions if you're able to help:

• Can you tell if these automatic save points include your missing tabs?
• Do you tend to keep your browser open for many days without restarting it?

My theory at this point is that maybe the automatic save point is also missing the tabs you've lost. And thus the tabs aren't there during restore.

For me it did show up in the backup properly, although it didn't restore the tab groups so I had to manually do that (though it did show the groups in the backup. I use Brave so could be some conflict there). Tabs were only missing after the initial update when it automatically restored what was already there.

Problem persists in 8.1.2.

"Automatic save point for v8.1.2" has the deleted tabs, so I could at least export that and the current session and diff them, but it sure is annoying to have to do this EVERY UPDATE.

  as far as I remember - YES

this is not first time when extension lost random tabs during updates.

From glancing at previous backups with lost tabs, it seems to me that the only tabs which failed to restore are those which were in a suspended state at the time the backups were made. I don't see any tabs which had been in an unsuspended state that failed to restore successfully.

Is anyone else seeing similar behavior or does this not capture the full scope of affected tabs?
