On the release notes above the CVE-2026-4821 is referred which got into "rejected" state with the following rationale:

Rejected reason: This CVE ID has been rejected or withdrawn by its CVE Numbering Authority as it was published in error.

Either this was no vulnerability at all or got a different CVE assigned (not sure which is the case here) and this probably would need some investigation by GitHub staff.

I've never had an issue about release notes, so I'll see if there's someone to pass this off to since it's generated by a script and not actually authored by the docs team.
