Dark mode setting on Stack docs is broken

First of all, I just want to say my initial impression with GitHub stacks is 10/10. Such a huge unlock. One of the best things from GitHub in years. Thank you!

Just one small nit, and it's related to the docs - the dark mode setting on https://github.github.com/gh-stack/ is broken. If you set it to Light and reload the page, the setting still says "Light" but it reverts to dark mode.

Thank you! The selected theme is cached using a local storage value (key: starlight-theme) — can you confirm if you are seeing that stored/changed as you toggle? Unclear if there may be some browser settings that could be blocking that being stored, but if you could share more info about your browser including the user agent, that would be helpful.
